Check-In

Welcome Desk

You are the first impression! Bring your high-wattage, Boilermaker smile and show off your pearly whites!

Visitors check-in at the Boilermaker Station Welcome Center in Stewart 102 and will depart from right outside the Welcome Center. Begin by checking in the visitors on Slate using an iPad.

The iPads will either be located at the check-in counter or in the locker in the office. Turn on the device, and unlock it using the passcode: 1869.

Next, use the Slate Mobile App to complete the check-in process:

      1. Log in using your Purdue Career Account
      2. Tap the calendar icon on the navigation menu
      3. Select "Events"
      4. Using the calendar, tap the "Daily Visit" event for the corresponding day and time
      5. Tap "Launch Check In"
      6. Tap the checkbox next to the student's name
      7. Update the number of guests accompanying the student if necessary

Time permitting, direct visitors to nearby amenities, such as restrooms across the hall, Starbucks on the ground floor of the PMU, or Stewart Market down the hall. Instruct visitors to return a few minutes before the tour so we are able to leave on time.
